Sir,
I am directed by Mr. Secretary Amery to transmit
to you for the information of Secretary Sir #Joynson-
Hicks the accompanying copy of a confidential despatch
from the Governor of Hongkong with copies of the
enclosures, in regard to certain recent seizures of cocaine.
The Secretary of State's despatch of the 1st of
July 1925 was a formal despatch transmitting to the
Governor copy of a note (with enclosure) dated the 15th
of June 1925 from His Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires, Berlin,
of which it is understood a copy was sent to the Home
Office under Foreign Office reference F 2375/106/87 of the
22nd of June 1925.
